About Me
I am currently an associate professor in the College of Computer Science and Technology at Zhejiang University, China. From January 2019 to June 2020, I was a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Computer Science at the University of British Columbia, Canada under the supervision of Prof. Gail C Murphy. From July 2018 to December 2018, I was a research scientist in the School of Information Systems, Singapore Management University, Singapore under the supervision of Prof. David Lo. From 2016 to 2020, I was a postdoctoral research fellow in the College of Computer Science and Technology at Zhejiang University, China under the supervision of Prof. Shanping Li. From 2014 to 2015, I was a postdoctoral research associate at Lehigh University, the United States under the supervision of Prof. Gang Tan.
I received my Ph.D. degree in computer science from the College of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University, China, in 2014. I was very fortunate to work under the supervision of Prof. Fansheng Kong and Prof. Bo Zhou.
My research interests include software engineering, software security, and programming languages. I perform empirical studies to better understand how software practitioners work, how software is developed, and how software technologies evolve. I also develop tools to aid with the improvement of software security.
